Location
Lugano is a small town in the southern part of Switzerland, in the canton Ticino. The spoken language here is Italian.
We are kindly hosted by the University of Lugano. Along with other nine cantonal Universities and two Federal Polytechnic Institutes USI builds up the Swiss University system in general.
From the geographical, political and cultural point of view, the University acts as a bridge between cultural areas of the Northern and Southern Europe. It aims to contribute to an ongoing dialogue and exchange between diverse scientific and cultural traditions.
