Student Consulting

Every year hundreds of international new-comers (including University, different international high-schools and colleges, Erasmus programme) arrive in Lugano. At the very first period of their stay they usually need to do a lot of administrative procedures, to find places of interest, to find out how to do this and that, to adapt to local culture and habits and many more things.

We offer them help by providing advice and hints learned from the experiences of other students, in some cases even establishing relations to organizations and institutions that provide professional consultancy to our students for free. This project is dynamic and flexible and it will growth according to students needs.

Motivation
When our members first arrived they faced these problems, so we decided to try to help all new students who need precise explanations regarding different kinds of issues from student and also common life. We want to give information, explanations but also hints that could help and direct one to resolution of the concrete problem.

Project goal
Sharing knowledge and experience among students could be very important for their future teamwork in an international environment. This is exactly what we would like to achieve - to encourage interstudent communication and exchange of ideas and information. In addition we've talked to many companies that have advice or discounts for students. We want to introduce through this project those offers to the students, and at the same time we look forward to meeting the companies understanding in sense of support and help.
